In 2009 my women’s group, Sororoptimist International of Eugene, a pillar of social justice advocacy in our local community, turned 60. I was a relatively new member at the time, so to honor the women who had done such amazing work in past years I wrote and directed a video tribute to them and to the Soroptimist mission. Todd Zellar of Eden Z Films produced and edited the piece pro bono and made the final cut into something quite beautiful.
